This will be kinda a weird post, but bear with me. I've been thinking lately about how every person in this world has one main priority, mostly its family, which I can say is my priority. But I heard a Toby Keith song yesterday called "American Soldier". There is one quote that gets me every time:
"And I will always do my duty no matter what the price
I’ve counted up the cost, I know the sacrifice
Oh and I don’t want to die for you, but if dyin’s asked of me
I’ll bear that cross with honor, cause freedom don’t come free."
Listening to that song just makes me thankful that I am who I am, and partly because of the people that choose to protect us so I dont have to. I think its important to realize that even though we may nto agree with how our armed forces are being utilized, they are there on the front lines ensuring that our way of life is there for our taking. My philosophy is that you can have everything in this world that you want, all it takes is hard work. That philosophy is true because of our freedom.
